What a great day out we had exploring the Foreshore and all the Places that make New Plymouth Unique. Here we are exploring the Len Lye Wind Wand. What a great place to do our school work. On the right you can see Jodie giving the Wind Wand a hug - Did you remember to make a wish Jodie?
We even got to stop at the Aquatic Centre for a swim and a rest. We walked about 6 Km. What a great challenge of us all. All the teachers were super proud of your efforts.
Nearly at the end! At the Big Wave Territory Sign that cost $80,000. It is really big. Our challenge now is to find out what all the places on the sign are! We have never heard of the Taranaki Violin or the Zombie Walk.
Jodie's Papa from Australia assited on this day trip and I know he was extremely impressed with how well behaved the children were. So was I, what a great day out with the added benefit of exhausted children!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAWW Thanks, yes the students were super well behaved and we loved every minute of it. Thanks to Jodies Papa, he was a Grandad helper megastar :)
