As part of our Matariki Celebration we made fried bread and shared it.

How to Make Fried Bread
(With an adult only)
1 Cup of self Raising Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
Add cold water and mix until forms a soft dough.
Turn out onto a floured board and form into small balls.
Just like a scone, do not over mix.
Fry in hot (but not too hot) oil until crispy and golden. Serve with butter and golden syrup or jam.
Jack gave the friend bread a big thumbs up!
He had four pieces. Slurp!
Sebastian Gobbled his down!
