THE 'DD' delicious dessert pizza. Jacob, Jacob and Brayden up to mischief! Chocolate, banana, marshmallows, maple syrup, lollies, chocolate sauce and whipped cream!! Oh no.
Room 15 are studying fractions for Mathematics. We had a brainwave that since we were using Pizzas as an example to learn about fractions what better way to test our understanding but to make pizza and cut it into even pieces.
We were given the task of designing our own pizzas in groups. We had to decide what ingredients we needed and write our own recipes. We gave our pizzas fancy names and set about cooking them.
We learnt many life lessons. 1) You have to co-operate to work in a team. 2) You have to compromise to make sure everyone is happy. 3) Fractions have to been even - or people will complain! 4) Marshmallows, chocolate and lollies make a jolly good pizza!
